Hands-on software architect and engineering leader. I build and scale products, platforms, integration layers, and engineering teams, from architecture decisions to production.
For 15+ years I've designed, built, and led software products and engineering organizations for U.S. and international companies. My experience spans hands-on development, software and integration architecture, cloud platforms, engineering delivery, and scaling teams from the ground up to 140+ people across three countries. Today, I combine that engineering foundation with AI strategy and implementation, including agentic AI solutions, technology assessments, and helping organizations move from AI roadmaps to working products.
I build technology, and I build teams. My career has moved between software engineering, architecture, delivery, and executive leadership: growing a nearshore operation from 3 to 22 engineers, launching a Colombia engineering hub from 0 to 40+ engineers in 18 months, and scaling a LATAM technology organization to 140 people across Colombia, Peru, and Mexico.
That range lets me work across both the technology and the organization around it. I evaluate software architecture and platform scalability, shape engineering operating models and roadmaps, lead distributed teams, and translate technical tradeoffs for executives. My technical background spans cloud architecture, APIs and microservices, DevOps and CI/CD, and modern AI systems including LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI.
Today, I serve as Tech Lead, LATAM at Cuesta Partners, where I lead technology assessments and technical due diligence for private equity transactions and help portfolio companies define AI roadmaps. I also co-founded WeThink, an AI consulting firm working with organizations across Latin America on AI strategy, solution design, implementation, and adoption. Across both roles, the focus is turning technology decisions into measurable business outcomes.

Over 15+ years, I've built and led high-performance engineering teams and tech hubs across LATAM for American and international companies, growing operations from early-stage teams to organizations with more than 140 people across Colombia, Peru, and Mexico. My experience spans launching new sites, defining scalable delivery processes, leading technical hiring, and mentoring engineers and managers at every level.
More recently, my work has expanded to the intersection of engineering and AI. I lead technology assessments for private equity M&A transactions, evaluating architecture, scalability, and engineering team maturity. I define and implement AI backlogs for portfolio companies, including agentic solution design, prioritization frameworks, and phased implementation roadmaps. And through WeThink, the AI consulting firm I co-founded, I help organizations across Latin America adopt and implement AI in a responsible and effective way, covering strategy, training, and enterprise implementation across industries like real estate, retail, healthcare, and construction.
